Editorial Policy
IPTVSetup.com publishes hands-on IPTV service reviews, player comparisons, and setup guides. This page explains how we research and test, how we make money, and how we correct mistakes — so you can judge our recommendations for yourself.
Who writes this site
IPTVSetup.com is written and maintained by Mike, an IPTV tester and cord cutter since 2023. Every review and guide is based on first-hand use of the software and services described — not on press releases, affiliate briefs, or summaries of other sites.
How we test IPTV services
- Minimum 30 days per service on Firestick, Android TV, and mobile, including peak hours (8–11 PM) when weak providers fall apart.
- Free trials first. We never recommend paying annually for a service we haven't trialed ourselves.
- Measured, not claimed: live-sports uptime, channel availability versus advertised counts, EPG accuracy, and support response times.
- Re-tested regularly. Services change, so rankings are updated when a re-test shows a different result. Each page shows its published and last-updated date.
Independence and funding
Our rankings are based on testing, not sponsorship. We do not sell paid placements, "sponsored" positions, or guaranteed reviews. Some pages contain affiliate links: if you sign up through one, this site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never influence what is ranked or recommended, and we disclose affiliate links where they appear. See our disclaimer for details.
Accuracy and corrections
IPTV is a fast-moving space: providers change pricing, channel line-ups, and apps frequently, so details can go stale. We aim to be accurate as of each page's last-updated date. If you spot an error — a price that changed, a dead link, or a feature we got wrong — let us know and we'll review and correct it. Corrections to facts are made promptly and reflected in the page's updated date.
AI and automation policy
Content on IPTVSetup.com is written and edited by a human. We do not publish automatically generated articles. Tools may help with tasks like spell-checking or outlining, but every published page is reviewed and verified by a person before it goes live.
How we handle legal and safety topics
IPTV spans licensed services and content of questionable legality. We recommend licensed providers and legal streaming options, flag the risks of unlicensed services, and avoid linking to or promoting pirated content. Our IPTV legality guide explains the difference.
